“ARMIE HAMMER’S LONGING FOR EARTH”
[ARMIE HAMMERS LÄNGTAN EFTER JORDEN]
A woman's worldview is shattered when actor Armie Hammer is outed as a cannibal. A dying magpie, a hospitalized child, a personal trainer undergoing virgin birth. And a CGI avatar of Armie Hammer. Together they portray the contemporary man’s inability to connect and resonate with each other and the world. It is uproarious, tragic and very human.
This play was performed at Stockholm University of the Arts, May 11-14 2024.

Projections on stage. Virtual scenography.
One of the characters in the play – Armie Hammer, portrayed by actor Filip Jönsson – only exists in the video projections on stage. He was created using facial capture technology – creating the most exquisite Uncanny Valley effect.
The poster for the play is another human in 3D — a face scan of actress Klara Hodell, shrinkwrapped in plastic. The plastic illustrates her distance to nature, passion and human relationships.
